Etchr Accordion Sketchbooks A5
These Etchr Accordion Sketchbooks are vegan-friendly and use 230 gsm paper for cold press or 220 gsm for hot press. The Medium A5 (13 x 21 cm) size is available in either cold press or hot press surfaces. This size accordion perfectly fits Colourjot Templates and will fit up to 5 colour wheel spreads.
The medium-sized accordion sketchbook has 30 pages, is acid-free, and made from artist-grade 100% cotton paper.
These books are in portrait format with a PU leather cover. The paper is ideal for mixed media, watercolour, and gouache.
Cold Press or Hot Press?
Cold-pressed paper has a slightly textured finish, or more “tooth”. It is often a go-to for watercolour artists as the textured finish may provide a little more water control. It is also great for those looking to accentuate the effect of pigment granulation.
Hot-press paper has a slightly smoother finish, which is great for adding detail, particularly for those using pens or pencils with wet media. When hot-press paper is made with 100% cotton, it handles washes well and provides a beautiful, crisp finish.
